I was sitting in my garden next to these flowers and I notice this waspy kinda... thingy-wasp floatin around collecting pollen. Good thing I had my camera with me to get the shot hehe

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. This is definatly AWESOME for the first shot of its kind by yourself. This is simply fantastic.
The amount of detail you captured is awesome. You clicked the shutter at just the right moment and you got a terrific result from it. The contrast and brightness levels are just perfect, and you've got a lovely assortment of colours. I love how the zoom hasn't made the image all grainy, which is something that is often common when you zoom in on something, especially with me! But this is just awesome!
It's been great to see your photography improve over the time i've been watching you, and i certainly think this is a breaking point in your macro shots.
